I dropped my remote and the clear plastic infront of the sensor popped out. I can't really see any other visible damage but it no longer works. How can i get another one? Right now we are changing channels from the set top and thats no fun...

It will cost about $10 for a replacement.   If you are not near your Fios box at the moment and want to order now, on the top of this page (I am assuming you are already logged in) click on My Services > Services Overview, then on bottom right of the resulting page  under FIOS TV > Account Actions then click on Order TV Remotes and Accessories.  If you need the remote that controls up to 4 devices it is $12.

if you do it through the cable box menu, a replacement remote is free.

Or using the in home agent software that verizon gives for free, at www.verizon.com/inhomeagent

Do you have the 2 device or 4 device remote? When I got fios I got the 2 device. Ended up buying a 4 device one here. https://teleproducts.verizon.com/fios/index.cfm/eh/DisplayProducts

You can usually trade remote controls across the counter at any Verizon Experience store at no charge. You'll get a 'refurbished' remote (not sure how you refurbish a remote control, it either works or it doesn't). I traded a remote that was no longer working reliably that way.

So if there is one not too far away, that may be faster and less expensive to go to the storefront, however at $10-$12, the shop doesn't have to be that far away before the cost of the trip exceeds the value of the remote....
