Netflix: getting internet through stb?

Is it possible to connect a LAN line to the STB to utilize my Netflix subscription? I bought a BlueRay player but it has a LAN connection not the USB. I will connect via the BR player to this tv but it had me thinking about another tv in my house which has just the STB attached. I see the ports and know that physically the connections are possible but wanted to know if I can make the connection and have access to the internet via STB so I can use my Netflix for that tv.

The ethernet port is not active on any Verizon STB.

I went thru the same thing. Check out this thread http://forums.verizon.com/t5/FiOS-TV-Technical-Assistance/hooking-up-lg-blu-ray-player/m-p/140881

I bought another Actiontec router from eBay, and used a MOCA bridge to basically bring 4 ethernet ports down to my TV, I was also able to extend the range of my wireless connection by keeping the wireless broadcasting mode on, on the new router.

Use this guide to set it all up. http://www.dslreports.com/faq/15984

Just be careful about the routers on eBay, they may not work.

Good Luck

EDIT: Ummm, I just re-read your post, and maybe this isn't what you really were looking for.  Unless that other TV has an e-net connection, this probably won't help to stream Netflix onto the other TV.
