I just installed the new digital receiver for my (2) additional TV in bedrooms. I'm very disappointed that I can't any longer see what channel I am tuning!!!!! What to do?

You should see the Verizon logo on the bottom left hand corner of your TV screen with the channel number and time. If you don't see that unplug the power to the boxes for 1 minute then plug the power back in. When the boxes power back up again you should see the info I am talking about.

Thank you for the reply, but I've tried and it didn't work. I've also noticed that the DCT700 gets very hot!

I think I need to contact Tech support and wait on the phone for 4 hrs as usual.

Just to follow up... I've contacted Tech Support and this is what happened:

A very courteous lady answered my call and spend about 30 minutes checking all my system to ensure that everything was working fine.

She couldn't make my TV's show the channel, so she put a service ticket for another sector of Verizon.

Today, exactly 24 hrs after my call, the channel number NOW appears on the bottom left section of the screen.

It seems like the system needs 24 hrs to get to work.
