Just to follow up... I've contacted Tech Support and this is what happened:
A very courteous lady answered my call and spend about 30 minutes checking all my system to ensure that everything was working fine.
She couldn't make my TV's show the channel, so she put a service ticket for another sector of Verizon.
Today, exactly 24 hrs after my call, the channel number NOW appears on the bottom left section of the screen.
It seems like the system needs 24 hrs to get to work.
