Not able to view HBO channel on only one of my STBs

I have a FIOS TV package which includes HBO and Cinemax, and I can view both of these channels on my Multi-Room DVR, one of my non-DVR STBs and two CableCards.  However, for the other non-DVR STB, I can receive every channel (including Cinemax) but not HBO.  I can't even re-subscribe to HBO (figuring I could sign up for it via the STB and then cancel any extra charges once it worked on this STB).  I've spoken many, many times with Verizon, and they've sent many, many new STBs for me to try.  I've moved the STB to various coax locations in my house where other STBs currently work, I've disconnected coax cables all the way to the internal panel and reconnected them, but no luck.  Verizon has reset the rogue STB from their office, and it continues to ignore any effort to get it to display HBO.  Help?

This MAY work -- no guarantees!  I received these instructions via chat when I had a similar but not identical problem.

1. On your FiOS TV Remote, press STB then press MENU.
2. Scroll down and select settings.
3. Next, highlight system information.
4. Now press on remote 4883 then OK. (You should get a success popup.) Then press 2601 and then OK. (Again, you should get a sucess popup.

I found some at  www . dslreports . com / forum/ r24131267-STB-Secret-Codes.  Delete the spaces.  (This forum software would not let me embed the actual link).

4883 is supposed to erase the guide in the STB's hard drive or RAM (depending on the model).

What error are you getting?

Do you have a problem with all of the HBO channels?

Both HD and SD?

Have you tried taking the box to a coax connection that has a working STB and vice versa?

Thanks for the suggestion - I tried both '4883' and '2601' but unfortunately they didn't seem to change the situation.  I did get a periodic message after typing in each code ("loading", or "processing" or something like that), but I didn't get a concluding 'success' popup from either.  The system flashed the periodic message for quite some time, and then reverted back to the standard HBO screen that you get when you haven't subscribed to HBO.

As an experiment (since I have already subscribed to HBO and get the channel on my cablecards, multi-room DVR and another STD), I tried the options that the standard HBO screen provides you (interactive preview, new subscription, troubleshooting).  I tried to subscribe using the instructions on the screen, and I got the message that my subscription was 'under process'.  However, after some waiting, nothing happened.  I've tried the 'troubleshooting' button, and sometimes it tells me that I haven't subscribed.  Very confusing.

Thanks - This STB is connected to the same coax as my cablecards, which are able to get the HBO channels.  I've also moved it to another coax connection where my other STB is also working (and able to get the HBO channels).  All of the HBO HD and SD channels are unavailable.  I'm able to get Cinemax and Showtime and I think one of these is bundled with HBO, but I can't remember which.

I can get the standard HBO screen that invites you to subscribe.  If I try to subscribe, it looks like it's working, but then I'm still at the standard HBO screen.  The troubleshooting feature will direct me to call Verizon, who have taken me through everything that they can think of (moving the STB, resetting the STB from their end, etc.) with no effect.

My suggestion would be to check with support.

I have had the most success with twitter going to @verizonfios.

They will probably send you a link to a form for you to fill out with account details.

Fairly timely and helpful IMHO.
