I recently reactivated my T.V. connection and it doesn't work properly.
The box obviously has a connection since it shows the time and what channel I'm on/What's playing. But the picture doesn't show at all. The only thing that shows on the television screen is the little information bar of the channels. Everything else is just black. No sound either. I can browse the menu and everything though.
Any ideas on how to fix this problem?
Try to unplug the cablebox and plug it back in (power cable). If that still doesnt resolve your issue you may need to call in.
This may require a hit from our end. I would suggest calling tech support and having send some special reset commands to your STB. Please make sure they are aware you were recently disconnect and such...they may need to check if there is any pending orders.
