On Demand Can't Resume

When we watch TV shows on demand and pause time out or want to watch later it WILL NOT resume. It makes us start from the beginning.  You choose resume but it still starts from the beginning.  Addiionally, since it is TV, it won't fast forward.  I had to watch an excessively long trailer for Ice Age twice after I came back from a phone call.  PLEASE FIX RESUME FOR ON-DEMAND!
