No it is not. Verizon Call Assistant is required with non-digital voice service. It's free and can be ordered and activated at https://www36.verizon.com/callassistant/signin.aspx. Once it's active, then caller ID can be enabled, as well use of the VCA web site and PC client that provides a popup and caller ID/voicemail log. You can play your voicemails from the web and PC client too with VCA.
