On-screen caller ID; diagnostics OK but still no popup on call

Enabled caller ID on DVR/stb several days ago;

  • checked for availability — OK
  • enabled on DVR & STB
  • waited 2 full business days

 

When still no on-screen display after waiting, ran diagnostic; the diag does trigger the test CID popup, but incoming phone calls do not.

 

 

I have also done the disable/reboot/enable cycle.  Still no on-screen CID.

Do you have Digital Voice or Freedon Essentials (the old POTS system)?

It should be digital voice; it's being carried over FiOS.

Both are carried over FIOS (POTS over FIBER).  The instructions for on-screen differ depending on which one you use.
