Every time I look up something I put the first 3 letters and the show I want to come up is at the top of the list.
Really I just sometimes can't stand to hear people complain about such things that are so simple. How hard is it to spell something. Are we that lazy as a society. Has anyone seen the movie wall-e, where the whole human race is a bunch of fat people in hover chairs because they can't walk any more.

i think the search feature is pretty good. the program i'm searching for usually shows up in one of the top 3 results.
although searching would definitely be much speedier if the remote had a "mini-keyboard" or something like that, instead of "arrowing" to each letter, but that's such a minor thing.

I had a little 15 yr old say let me try...I gave her the remote and she used the keypad like she was texting on a cell phone. It worked. We're never to old to learn. 😉
I think the earlier poster was using the alphabet entry (using the left/right up/down arrows). There is an option in the settings menu that changes the search to use a numeric pad input like a cell phone. Being and old **bleep** myself I use the clumsy method - not proficient at texting
Edited inadvertent blank post DOH !

My only complaint is that there is now way (that I have found - I've only had it about 2 weeks) to sort the channel guide. For instance, on comcast one could hit the menu button, go to search and select "movies" or "kids" and the guide would immediately show you only movies or kids programs. It was a feature my family used constantly. Does anyone know if one can do this type of real time sorting on the FiOS channel guide?
