both are outages in our area... will this affect how my fios tv is performing? because right now it does not update the tv guide. i couldnt even use the VOD... it always says Box is offline (VOD_112). Help please.
It sounds like your stb and router are not communicating properly. Before contacting tech support. I'd reboot the router (power off for 30 seconds) and then reboot the stb (unplug from power for 30 seconds) then give it about 5 minutes for both to come back up and load the info. See if that corrects the problem. If that fails, then contact tech support.
