They won't look as ugly as the one in the cisco brochure...that's for sure.

I looked at the Cisco brochure, one thing that I didn't like was it said you could record one channel while watching another. With the current Verizon DVRs you can record two channels while watching a previously recorded program. While I don't do that every day, I most certainly do use that capability and I would hate to lose it, even to gain PIP.

There's no need for concern. The Cisco DVR will also record two channels while you watch a third, previously recorded show.

Thanks, that is good news, but that is certainly not what the brochure on the specific model mentioned said so that is why I was concerned.
