Pairing new cell phone to FIOS remote

My old cell phone was a droid, and it paired easily to FIOS remote.  New phone is HTC Rezound, and is not on list.  Only 4 phones are on the list,  two are HTC, but not mine.  Since it is the droid OS, can I still pick droid to pair?

Finally got the FIOS remote to work with the existing connection from prior cell phone.  Maybe this will help someone.
