Pink screen when playing dvds since switching from Cox to Verizon

When I play dvds my tv screen is pink. I've tried fiddling with the cables, but to no avail. I spent 20 mins on the phone to Verizon listening to an automated message, then another hour on-line with a live chat person who couldn't figure out the problem. I've called and left a message with the technician. I'm getting frustrated not being able to talk to a REAL person. This has only happened since we switched to Verizon. HELP!

Afraid that has nothing to do with FiOS. To prove that ... completely disconnect the STB from the TV such that only your DVR player and your TV are connected together. The result?
If the picture is still wrong, you either have a cabling issue, DVD player issue, or a misadjusted set.
