Problems with Screen Guide after Verizon Maintenance last night

Since last night when Verizon did an update to the screen guide, my full page guide isn't full screen on my HD monitors. It's got black bars on the side, like it was a 4:3 screen. What gives?

"And last, and probably the most discussed change in 1.71 from 1.7, is the aspect ratio of the graphical user interfaces (GUI).  In 1.7 we stretched the 4:3 GUI to fill a 16:9 screen.  A large number of customers responded that this change was not desirable, so in IMG 1.71 we removed the stretching function, causing a smaller number of customers to request we put the stretched view back.  We’ll discuss this one in more detail in a future blog post."

 

There will be a true 16:9 HD guide in the future.
