Programming FiOS remote for Toshiba 42HM66

Neither the FiOS installer nor I have been able to program the FiOS remote for my 42-inch Toshiba 42HM66 DLP set. None of the listed codes work, nor did the "try everything" mode of going through 300 plus possible codes. So, I use one remote for the TV, the other to navigate my programming. Had the same issue when Comcast was the provider.

Anyone with the same problem? Suggestions welcome :^ )

I had the same problem with my emerson lcd hd. I ended up getting a universal remote that was compatable with the verizon dvr box and had a learning feature to learn from my original tv remote. I bought a Philips Prestigo remote (around 150.00 @ bestbuy). They had others with the learnig feature that were around 50.00 but I liked some of the features on the Philips. It took about an hour for mr to get things to work the way I wanted and I am not very tech savy.

How about getting a universal remote from radioshack?  They have remotes that should work with both our reciever and you TV.  That's what I would suggest trying.
