Working through https://essentialsandextras.verizon.com/whatsnext and need to make a change, so it says to call  1-888-553-1555.

 

 

The automated system gives no feedback about wait time or when they're actually there, etc.  Are there no options for folks in the Pacific time zone who call in the afternoon or evening?  If so, I'd love at least some warning that I'm on hold indefinitely.

That phone number you gave is  a 24 hour support number.

Hey firebolt,

 

That number will get you to both billing/sales and technical support. Generally the main billing office is open 8am-6pm (respective time zones) but the system will transfer you to technical support if the office is closed or give you a message saying its closed. In any event you shouldn't ever be on a indefinite hold..
