QIP2500-3 problems No IMG to TV

I have a Motorola QIP2500-3.  Worked just fine last night.  This AM I have nothing showing in the window except "O".  Trying to set channel initially shows in window but then reverts to "O".  Router was reset but didn't fix problem.  I unplugged, then reconnected power... didn't fix problem.  All I have is "O" in the window.

same thing happened to me and we had to call tech support and they had to send a code to reset the box. so there's nothing you can do by yourself. one more thing, after resetting the cable box, we could change channels or power on/off the box, but no guide or on demand. i guess that's another call to tech support. so before you hang up on tech support make sure everything works!!

Did your STB update to IMG 1.9 ?

 

Go to menu > settings > system information  > release number 1.9
