QIP6200 Slow Performance

I have the QIP-6416 in our living room and the QIP-6200 in our office. While playing back a recorded show in the office, the playback is ungodly slow. Sometimes it freezes so it can sync-up. I thought it should be quick and snappy with the controls but instead, it's excrutiatingly painful to watch something in another room of the house. Now, watching playback on the QIP-6416 in the living room is no problem. Any ideas?

Try rebooting your router. Just like the computer talking to the internet, the cable boxes use the router to transfer the recordings from one box to another.

No change after rebooting router. If you hit the skip forward button, it takes longer to sync up than the amount of time the system skips.
