Quant rum enhance ( New System )

I am able to record 6 shows at once, but when I record more the one show all the other tv"s in the house can't change channels unless they stop recording one of the shows.
Is their a way to have the other tv"s 100% independent of the main box?

So if I'm recording more then 2 shows on the main dvr the rest of the house can only watch 6 channels.

Your server has 6 tuners available altogether. Each time you turn on a client it uses one of the servers tuners. Each server can have a maximum of 4 clients. If you have more than that you need another server.

That's crazy, so when the kids go to bed and they each want to watch a diff show and my wife wants to watch her show on another tv and I'm recording 3 shows the only way for the rest of the house to watch what they want is to camel some of the recording shows.

I was better off with the old boxes, I could only record 2 shows but the rest of the house could watch what they want.

Your solution is to then get another server and you can record all of your shows.

As said you would be one who benefits from having 2 of the media servers instead of using the client boxes. They will allow to record 6 shows on each server and since they arent sharing tuners you wouldnt have to worry about not being able to watch something or only being able to record 2 shows at once like the old boxes.
