REMOTE CONTROL VOLUME CONTROL ISSUE with VZ P265v1.1 RC --NOT RESOLVED

We've been through the set top box settings, to no avail.  Even tried some of the "solved" issues I read in the FTTA forum, also to no avail.

Is there a VZ person here who can solve this issue once and for all?  We sure would appreciate it.
