We have a triple package and, unfortunately, everything was shut-off about 2-days ago. To make a long story short, I had it turned back on tonight and now we have a couple of issues: the guide on the tv is not showing any program information and certain things don't work on the remote; also, when I tried to check my email, it is not connecting to the server. Can someone tell me if there are certain things that I need to do since being re-connected? Thank you....

well you may have to reboot a lot of the equipment.
so for the router, there is just an on/off switch. switch it off for about 30 seconds and then back on.
wait for the internet light before moving onto the cable boxes.
at the cable boxes, just hit the menu button, look for help. and then in home agent, and then hit reboot stb.
wait for it to come back. and try it again.
