Is Verizon ever going to release a STB with the ability to record more than two programs at once? I have two HD STBs sitting together and they handle my recordings.
However, the down side is that I don't have the ability to cross check shows across the two units. And I really have to pick and choose carefully as I don't want to end up with a conflict.
If we could get a box that would do 4 recordings, then this would make life sooo much better! Now, I have the power to schedule 4 shows at once on one unit and then I would only have to manage one receiver (STB).

As of right now Verizon does not plan on releasing DVR's with more than two turners in it. The only new plan for a DVR upgrade is to increase the storage to 320 GB. in the first quarter of 2010.

Any word on when the larger drives will be out (and whether people can trade up). Also, and possibility of activating the SATA drive. Not much space if you record everything in HD.

Anytime something is written or mentioned about expanding the hard drive it is always pushed back. Bottom line is that Verizon made a huge mistake going with the dvrs that they have right now. The capacity is just too small to record HD. This problem should have been delt with before anything else. Before all their Widgets too! It's their biggest problem right now. They know it...but if your waiting because it is the first q of 2010, you have a long wait. Delay....Delay...Delay

I doubt Verizon is very interested in more than 2 tuners. They make more money renting 2 tuner DVR's, and I suspect the demand is pretty limited. If there was a lot of demand, I suspect we'd be hearing a lot more about the Moxi 3.
As far as I know the on DVR with more than 2 tuners is from Moxi,. They have the Moxi 3, which has 3 tuners..
