Replace old DI-604 Router

Has anyone had any success replacing the old D-Link DI-604 router that came with the early FIOS adopters (TV & Internet)? When I tried to replace it with a Linksys WRT-54G v6 wireless router, everything worked except VOD/Widgets.

Is there something burned into the chipset or is it just a setting somewhere within the router configurations?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

If you have the old system, with the Dlink. You should also have a motorola nim connected. Its a little black box with two green lights on the front. It should have been connected to your Dlink router. It needs to be connected to your new Linksys. That little black box is the link between the TV and the Router.
