Replacing a remote

Greetings:

What's the quickest and easiest way for me to get a new TV remote?  Remote appears dead... new  batteries etc. and none of the lights are lighting up when pressed.  I even tried thinking somehow my daughter "reprogrammed" it on me, but holding down TV button for 10 seconds never generates blinking lights.  So, I need a new remote and wasn't sure of I call and have them deliver one, or if there is a different way of obtaining them.

Thanks.  I just got off the phone, and a new one is being shipped.  I didn't know if they had local branches that  I could have picked one up at, but I didn't not see any in yellow pages.
