Is the Westell router firmware updated automagically or do I need to d/l and install myself?  If the later where do I go to get the firmware?

Don't have the Westell but AFAIK all of the routers supplied by Verizon have custom firmware and it is automatically updated (at least that is true for the Actiontec).

Yikes!  Since I'm an ex-soft developer words like "custom firmware" strike terror into my mind.  I'll drop this subect like a hot potatoe.
