Over the past couple of weeks, my set top box has begun randomly rebooting while we are trying to watch tv.  It will be fine for a couple of hours, and then it'll just stop.  It'll do it two or three times a night now.  I've tried all of the recommended solutions through the self help process to no avail.  Anyone have any other thoughts?

Were I in the situation you described I'd ask Verizon for a replacement box. It sounds like yours very well may have some internal failure.
