Setting default guide

Is there a way to set the guide to display subscribed channels only? I know it can be changed to that but each time I leave the guide it defaults back to all channels. Is there a way to set the default?

You also have to find the option to enable "Last Viewed Guide State".

I don't seem to have this option (cannot find anywhere). I want guide to default to a) subscribed channels and b) HD. I want to default to these settings every time. Frustrating to have to set these options each time I turn on TV.
