Setting up DVR recordings from my mobile device

Before my set top box failed I could do this from anywhere. Now I cant get the DVR to set when Im out of the house. I got the remote working (when Im in the house), but I cant set to record. Its the same on both the iPhone and iPad. I removed and reinstalled the apps and Ive rebooted the box a number of times...No luck.

I assume you are using the fios mobile app. The remote will only work when you are connected to your router. You can set recordings from the TV listing section. Since you just changed box or if you have multiple DVR's, make sure you have the correct box selected to record to. The three squares at top right side of app.
