recently upgraded and since replacing old dvr with VMS1100, the channel guide has become painfully slow. full one second 1+ second lag between channel press and movement. I also noticed that I no longer have the option of looking up the cast list in program information window. Is this a problem with my dvr, software, something else? anyhthing I can do about it?
Not sure what you mean can't look up cast.
If you hit info twice for program description, you don't see cast?
Have you tried rebooting VMS?
Try via menu support top support reboot stb
Do you also have IPC?
If so, do you have the same issue?
