getting a messager on TV -Do I want to upgrade software - try to say ok - nothing happens - how do I respond and get rid of msg on screen?

Did you highlight the Ok and select (enter/ok) on remote?

or if it’s really bugging you, simply unplug the stb and plug back in and see if that cleared it off.

you could call 1-800-VERIZON and get tech support to assist.
