Your TV gives you the 4k through video processing that it has. It takes a signal and beefs it up.
The Cisco Set top box you have is fine, and will work well with your tv.
There is currently no 4K content.
None of the STBs will output in 4K.
That being said, your TV will upscale as previously stated.
