We have a Samsung 8000 TV and just had fios installed 3 days ago. We've noticed our sound cuts in and out while watching anything on demand. When the verizon guy first tried installing our fios tv, he could not get any sound at all. This was with an HDMI cable from the tv directly to the Cisco DVR box. My husband was able to get sound when he connected our Panasonic sound bar up to the DVR box with an optical cable. However, the sound fades out while watching tv. We can quickly fix it by turning the sound bar on and off. But we'd like to find a long term solution.
Has anyone else experienced this and been able to resolve the issue?
