When I switch from SD to HD on the same channel, the sound drops noticeably.
I have to use the remote to raise the sound back up. How can I fix this?

Please check the audio settings on the TV to see if you have an autoatic sound adjust feature turned on. The only settings that could be adjusted in the box would be the Dynamic Range in the audio settings.

Actually its the way it is suppose to be for channels that carry Dolby Digital sound. I for one, don't want the FIOS or TV options for adusting sound activated (dynamic range should be set to none).

Thank you. Am not sure about the setting on the TV (Sony). But changing the dynamic range audio setting on the STB has no effect on the sound drop when switching from SD to HD
