I recorded a movie by chosing it on the guide and pressing record. It was airing in the future. The movie was playing from 11 pm, Sept.16 until 1 am, Sept.17. When I went to watch the movie it recorded in 2 parts - a one hour recording for 9/16 from 11 to 12 and a second separate one hour recording for 9/17 from 12 to 1. What's up with that?

This can happen if the box rebooted or reset itself for some reason.


It will also happen if they sent thru an EAS (Emergency Action System I Believe) message or test.  The test happen quite frequnetly where I live and I see this often.
