I want to disable subscriptions from Fios TV Prime HD, but not disable On Demand. Is this possible and if so, how?

Hi, you can set up a purchase control. You would have to do this on each cable box.

Use the remote. Hit menu/setting/parental controls

It will ask you to create a password. Make up a 4 digit password, enter it on the keypad and hit ok. A very similiar screen will pop up and say confirm password. You should enter the very same password a second time and hit ok.

Now that you are in, you have three main ways to apply controls.
1. You can block an entire channel (I.e. playboy or hbo or cinemax)
2. You can block content by rating.
3. You can block purchases (anyone wanting to do a purchase will be required to put either a parental or 2nd purchase pin)

For your request, go down to "control purchases" you'll see how it is set to no pin. You want to make the check mark and put it next "use parental pin" (they will be required to use the pin you just made) or put the checkmark next to "use purchase pin" (this will require that you create and confirm a seperate and new pin just for purchases)

After that your done. So it seems like a lot of steps but its not too bad.
Condensed, they look like this.

Menu/settings/parental controls.
Create pin/confirm pin
Select control purchases and finally select use parental pin.

Rinse and repeat with each cable box that you need this for

You can also have Verizon remove the ability to order any VOD, but that is done through an order, and not through parental controls.

I was able to follow the instructions for the HD remote (thx!!!), but the other 2 remotes (sans HD) I need to select each and every channel to lock.

My situation: on Feb 5, I started getting charged for a subscription I did not order (next!). Did n't now until I got the next bill about March 10). In March 5, my husband and I left for out of state travel before 5am that day. My parents (85+ yrs old, hardly able to retrieve email) was staying at the house and reported that during the morning ice storm, we had a power outage/surge. Messed up the main (HD) remote which they were not able to use until we returned home a week later to reset the settings. The other remote worked correctly to get regular non-HD TV channels.  It may be difficult to believe, and I can not appreciate all the "users"/"abusers" that are out there, but there is no way, with 28 separate "clicks" as the Billing Dept stated was needed to activate this site, that it occurred at our home. All they offered to do was to cancel the subscription, ppay for the days already passed,  and to reiterate that it HAD to have been activated from ou r home.  Watch ourt for power surges....
