I just got a new television and thought I hooked it up correctly. However, all that comes up is a screen that says that there is no technical problem with my television service and to call. But there is no customer service tonight. Any suggestions?
There are a few things to answer before you call. Did you take anything apart from the cable box? Or did nothing change other than the cables you took out from the back of the old TV? What kind of cables are you using on the new TV? (HDMI, Component) And do you have the the TV set to the correct input or source that match the cables your using? Is the message your reading generated by the TV or the cable box? If the message is from the cable box then you have the cables hooked up correctly and are on the correct input. Is the coaxl cable connected to the back of the cable box that says "FIOS IN"?
