TV listings filtered by TV plan
NewCustomerInGB

I am a new FiOS customer. I just had my service activated this morning. I am very disappointed with the FiOS TV Channels web page (https://www22.verizon.com/fiostv/myservices/members/tvlistings.aspx)!!! Verizon disrespects its customers by not letting the customer retrieve the current TV listing for just the TV plan purchased. I don’t care what is on the premium channels. I do not care what is on the HD channels. I only want to see the TV lineup and TV schedule for those channels I am purchasing! Why must corporate America constantly try and rape their customers, squeezing the last little bit of profit from every customer? Again, I feel that this reflects a general disrespect of your customers and a very low sense of corporate responsibility to anyone other than shareholders. This attitude by Comcast is what drove me away. I don’t know how long I will stay with Verizon because it seems you are just the same as Comcast. Why cannot Verizon be part of the solution in America instead of being part of the corporate infrastructure out to destroy the U.S. for want of the last dollar?

Perhaps if you presented this as a suggestion on the "Verizon Idea Exchange" it would receive more consideration than a complaint in a peer to peer forum.  Such a suggestion would probably find support from other users.

i see what you mean.. it's a great guide and i may use this on my laptop to compensate for the unusable FIOS onscreen guide..   i can't find a way to customize this yet but you'd think there would be some way.

the only thing i can find is

http://www.locatetv.com/user/schedule

if you sign up on and set it to your area, it appears you can create your own channel list under 'my tv schedule'

or better yet, since i can't get the above guide to show edited channels.. this one allows full customization

http://www.tvguide.com/Listings/

just select your area and provider and it's all there the way Verizon should be doing it

...also add zap2it tv listings, it'll customize for fios thru 'change my location' option. add only the channels you want

~edit~

your right about the verizon one there's a lot they can improve upon.

Zap2it is my primary site for TV listings.  But it must be customized to meet the OPs requirement of showing only subscribed channels.  I suspect the other sites referenced above have the same drawback.

Using the favorites option, the Verizon listings can meet the desire to show subscribed channels if it is customized.  With 2 favorites tabs available, Verizon actually provides more capability for customizing the listings. Favorite 1 can be used for subscribed channels and Favorite 2 for a subset of those channels.

ignore my first post about locatetv.. i just noticed half of my channels have the wrong number.. i was just eager to find something that allowed customization.. but my second post about tvguide is perfect..

i still have to check out the recommendations after mine though

yeah, Zap2it is the best.. once you get it set up with the channels you want on your list.. it's the cleanest looking.
