TV menu guide and port 4567?

I'm hoping someone here can tell me just what Verizon is using the 4567 port forward rule for.  I've been having some problems w/ my TV menu guide working for a few days and then stopping until everything is reset and I'm trying to troubleshoot a reason why.  I'm a Cisco guy by trade so I'd say I understand networks a little better than average but I can't seem to get anyone on the phone at tech support that can have a higher level conversation.  I have the the wireless turned off as well as a few port forwarding rules applied.  The network shows all the STB connected and with valid IP's.  Tech support keeps telling me that my TV menu guide won't work unless the wireless is turned on (it sure looks like a coax network connection to me) but I'm thinking that sounds a little crazy and it's more likely a port issue.   Like I said though, I can't seem to talk to anyone that really knows lvl3 support other than "reset the router"!

Is the default port forward rule for 4567 related to the TV menu guide in anyway?

Has anyone tried a port forward rule of "ALL ports" to an internal firewall or must you list out all the ports you want to forward?

No, that port forward rule appears to be for our digital line testing program.  It allows use to change some basic settings in the router by default when troubleshooting with a customer.  Some of the settings would include, wireless on/off, wep key, and some other basic commands.

If you are having issues with guide coming and going it may just be an issue with the router or the coax in your house. (sometimes the cable card just needs a reload).

If you need additional troubleshooting, feel free to send me a private message.
