TV picture and audio not syncing

I have had FIOS TV for a couple weeks and the picture and audio have not been syncing up.  It's more pronounced on certain channels, but fairly consistent, regardless of watching live TV or DVR programs.  I never had this problem previously as a DirecTV customer.  Any suggestions on how to correct it?  Thanks.
