Terrible audio when watching Lost in HD ?

Anyone else notice the terrible audio quality when watching lost?  Seems like the audio is overmodulated and gets scratchy at times.  I haven't watched it live yet as I always watch it a few days later on DVR.  But for at least two weeks in a row now the audio has been terrible (i just watched Wednesday night's episode last night).  Lost is the only show I notice it on.  Home media HDDVR hooked up via optical cable for audio.

 

p.s. impatiently waiting for v1.6.1+ so I can actually use my HMDVR in other rooms! (without it resetting shows back to the beginning all the time)

This was a known issue last episode ..  It was reported by viewers coast to coast on an AVS forum thread.
