When I had cable I slit the coax cable from the wall so i had one going from the box to the tivo, and another directly into the tv so that while the tivo was recording I could watch something else through on the regular tv. Is there anyway to still do this without having to get an additional box?
Right now that's the only set that I get tv on, (because I didn't get a box for my bedroom tv since I rarely watch it and didn't want to spend an additional $6/month) so I can only watch what's recording or what I have saved. Is my only option to get another hook up in my bedroom?
Also, I don't have a cable card slot in my tivo. yes, it's ANCIENT.
Thanks 😃

No.
If you want to watch one channel while you record another, you'll need to (a) switch to the Verizon DVR, (b) upgrade to the TivoHD with its dual digital tuners, or (c) add an additional box.
