Is there any way to turn off those annoying pop up ads when I try to access my DVR?  If I want to rent The Hangover 2 on-demand, I will access on-demand.  When i hit DVR on my remote, I want to watch something on my DVR.  THis is made doubly annoying because the ads take a long time to load.

It's a message from Verizon, usually done on Fridays for their On Demand, it's not really an ad so to speak and there is no way to turn it off, but once it happens, it won't happen again until the next message they have.

Actually you can turn it off. It is under Menu -> Settings -> Television -> Interactive TV. Set that to disable.

Rob, you misunderstood what he asked, it's the Verizon messages he is talking about which can't be turned off.
