Ultimate Tier Subscriber can not tune in to Channels under the new "Sports Pass"

I am an Ultimate Subscriber, that has never had problem tuning to these channels, even the other night. 

Now, When tuning in to the channles, I get a Splash Screen saying " Press OK to Subscribe" for 10 bucks a month. 

I am hesitant , because obviosly IMO, this has to be a mistake on FiOS' part. 

Also, what is weird, is that I CAN tune to BeIN HD ( which I believe is part of this Sports Pass ) , but all other channels included in this : Goal Line, WFN, ESPN Classic etc.... have this Splash Screen. 

Does anyone else see this if they are an Ultimate Subscriber, like me? 

Did VZ send out a letter or email about this? If so, I never got one. 

Any help would be appreciated.

I do not have Ultimate, but all of the channels you mentioned are still listed as part of the Ultimate plan in my area. You can always call, chat or twitter with Verizon.

Webcobbler if you press ok then your set top box will check to see if you truly have that as part of your tv package that you are paying for where if you do then it will recognize that and give you a message that you are already subscribed to it so you do not have to do anything more. I too had that same issue several days ago and contacted verizon on the phone where i had an agent right there with me just in case i accidentally placed a second order for something that i already had as part of my tv package. The same thing happened  with the nfl redzone channel a year or two ago where even if you had it as part of your package you still had to go there and press ok to order it even though you are already subscribed to it. It is verizon's way of making sure that you are not one of those people who is getting something that you are not paying for so they make you press ok to confirm it.  If you have it as part of your package one way to confirm it is to go to bein sport usa channel 598 or cbs sports channel 94 where those two channels you would have access to but not the longhorn network channel 320, espn classics channel 71, or espn bases loaded channel 571 until you press ok to subscribe to it where as i already said it is nothing more than confirming that you really should have it. After you press ok you will get a message that it is already part of your tv package and that you have to wait 15 minutes to get the channels.

I will try that.  I will call and talk with someone just to make sure, as you did place a second order by mistake.

But should I wait a couple days, or do this tonight?

Webcobbler what i meant by what i said in my post is that i did not place a second order but i had an agent with me on the phone just in case i did end up doing that by mistake. No second order was placed. It was just a precautionary measure if i did end up accidentally ordering something again. What i would recommend that you do is that you press ok when you get that message when you go to one of those channels that are in that sports package. All i did was go to espn classics channel 71 and press ok on the remote and then the set top box realized that it was already included in the tv package so it then gives you a message to wait 15 minutes before you can access the channels. You are probably going to have access to the channels within 5 minutes as i did. Just press ok on the remote and if you are someone who has the ultimate hd package then it will just confirm it for you right then and there where you can start to enjoy the channels within minutes of the confirmation. There are probably other channels out there like this too where you may have them as part of your package but you have to confirm it again by pressing ok on the remote. No second purchase will be made if you are already subscribed to it. It is not like that gol tv channel in english channel 313 that verizon discontinued its use on may 6 but it is still there on the guide where it appears as if you can still order it but can not. For new customers who just got fios they are wrongly made to believe that all they have to do is press ok and gol tv in english will pop up but it will not because verizon dropped it on may 6 after they had sent out emails alerting people that they would be dropping it back in april. Maybe one day they will realize that they no longer carry the gol tv in english channel.

the sports programming u mentioned will be taken out of the ulimate HD lineup idk why you were not notified about this change. the reason they gave to me was that the programming is becoming expensive to keep in the lineup. if you have new sports tier i will be able to have the sports programming mentioned i hope that helps you out.

They currently haven't removed it from Ultimate tier, at least not in my two areas.  No notices have went out as far as I know.  I suspect they will not be removed for those currently bundled for multiple years until after the end of those periods.

What?  I did not receive a letter about this. Why would they do this? They took all that time to put all those channels in this new Sports Tier. 

As of now, all those channels still are up and running in my area.  Are you positive that they are taking all these channels in the Sports Tier off Ultimate ?
