Unable to order DVR upgrade

We received an email on 28 Dec 2011 that we are eligible to order the upgraded 500GB DVR. I placed the order and received a confirmation number that same day.

Two week later, no DVR, and no order record. I am trying to place another order. The order page URL is as follows:

I get the "congratulations" page, click next, then check the box to agree to the $39.99 DVR Upgrade Fee. When I click next, nothing happens. It worked before but not tonight.

Using IE9, nothing fancy. Tried both normal and compatibility mode.

Cant get the link to work.

Verizon needs to get their act together.

I'm getting the same error. I've tried it in Firefox, Chrome, Safari, IE8, IE9, Private mode, normal mode, logging in with my verizon ID, logging in with my account number and zip code, still nothing. This is extremely frustrating!

If you have a local walk-in store nearby, you may find this a more satisfying experience - I usually do. Some would suggest calling ahead first to determine if the equipment is at the store, but I prefer dealing face-to-face to prevent misunderstandings.

I believe the web page sets cookies that makes it think you have successfully completed an order, and therefore will not you try again.

Option I used was to delete all cookies.

Others have mentioned using in-private browsing.

Tried both private modes on IE and Chrome, deleted cookies, even tried multiple computers, still no luck.

bump. any resolutoin? you would think a company as big as verizon would be capable of designing a functioning webpage, no?

I requested an upgrade through My Verizon website.  I received an invitation email with a link to upgrade.  I get as far as retrieving information page, and then I'm informed I need to try another time.  I have also tried ordering the upgrade by phone, but am told the only way to guarantee the 500GB DVR is to order online.  I attempted another request online.  Once again, the website informs me it can't access my records.  If I requested a repairman, and he didn't show I'd have recourse, but an online ordering system which will not respond is BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE.  Somebody's head should roll for all the aggravation this causes their customers.

VERIZON___GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!!!!   I am relentless at pursuing just treatment for customers.  Rest assured, I will not stop until things change out there.
