is this why i am not getting DD sound out of my 5.1?  no BASS!!

Not all DD sent includes .1  or for that matter all 5 surround channels.

I think there might be an issue with HDMI and optical/coax digital audio connection.  I switched to component to the video; disconnted the hdmi.  sound it better.  

 

i tried to access the secret menu, but i wasn't able to edit it. 1.9.4
