What is the standard, "Free" upgrade multiroom DVR?

My QIP6416 crashed and the new box should arrive tomorrow, but I don't know the model #.

The woman said I would have twice the hard drive space.

I want to look-up the specs tonight.

Unfortunately, the reason that the woman could not tell you is that there is no standard multi-room DVR. You will receive whichever model they have in stock when they ship your order. This could be any of 4 models. The 6416 which you had is the oldest and has the smallest hard drive (160GB). While they are starting to phase these out due to the fact that they cannot decode the newer channel formats, if your area and subscription package do not necessitate a newer model, you might get another one just like the one you're sending back. The other 3 models usually have a 500GB drive in them (although a few of the 7216's still have their original 160GB drive). Hope this helps.

Makes sense. I was hoping there was a standard. She did say the knew one's HD space was more than twice the size.
