VCR Doesn't Work Anymore
floatingspirit

I had a different cable company the last time I used my VCR. I cannot seem to get it to work with FIOS TV. I've tried everything with the colored wires...configuring them different ways...etc. It appears that the VCR is still working though. Is this not meant to work with FIOS? I have always managed to get my VCRs to work. Very frustrating. Can someone please help?

There shouldnt be issues using a vcr as others use theirs with fios.

How exactly do you have it all set up? Where is the coaxial coming from and going to?

I just typed "fios connect vcr" into Google and received many complete diagrams and detailed sets of instruction on how this can be done. Just note that you must "feed" the VCR from your STB, and not try to place it in line ahead of the STB.

I recommend you try at least five or so of the techniques listed in Google, and then report back if you are still facing difficulties.  Good luck and keep us posted.
