I know why it happens, but that doesn't make it any less annoying and FIOS needs to fix it.
I was watching HBO On Demand. Watching the series "Girls". Season 1 says it's available until 1/14/2014.
I started watching at 11pm on 1/13/14. Got to Episode 3 just after midnight 1/14/2014. Now all Season 1 episodes present me with the dreaded Timeout Error (VOD_268).
Season 2 plays fine. The "extra" videos play fine. And I know Season 1 isn't really gone because Showtime/Fios keeps all episodes of premium shows available forever. In a few hours or tomorrow Season 1 will work again.
But it is INCREDIBLY annoying to have this "glitch" prevent me from watching when I want to... that's what On Demand is supposed to be all about.
FIOS - Please FIX THIS BUG. It's been going on forever. For the shows where you provide them with no expiration date, the system shouldn't act like there is one.
