I would like to recommend a sticky post where all VOD problems can be filed so that the engineers have a consolidated place to search to fix this broken piece of dung. Last night I made my first and last VOD purchase. Having read many problems on these forums, I should have known better. The purchase process was easy. I paused the movie a couple of times, each pause under a minute duration, and the movie resumed normally. I then paused for about three minutes and when I returned, the movie had kicked back to live programming. Oh well, I thought, I will just resume. Not so fast - there is no menu item for doing so. I checked all menu options - nothing in "purchases", "library", "recent", or similar. There was simply no way to resume. (A phone call to technical confirmed this). There was a Flex-view option, but it was only in standard definition (no). I thought briefly of re-initiating the purchase and trusting billing to sort it out - but came to my senses and did not. I then spent 30 minutes on the phone to get billing to credit my account for losing the last half of the movie. I was furious enough to want VZ to fry in the flames of eternal Hell. In the cold light of morning, I think the sticky might at least help the process of fixing a service that is supposed to be a competitor for Netflix, VUDU, etc. If VOD is not fixed, then the VZ partnership with Redbox is for nothing since we won't be able to watch the movies anyhow. Thank you.
