Verizon: Please keep your website up-to-date!

I'm in the VHO8 area. Many HD channels were added yesterday, but the (HD) channel listing on your website hasn't been updated ( http://www22.verizon.com/Residential/FiOSTV/ChannelLineup/ChannelLineup.htm?zipCode=08041 . Comcast was an embarrassment because they never seemed to keep up their website.

The printed pdf lineups are not updated very often. The lineup where you put your zip code in is updated every day or two. All the new HD's should be there soon. I also like the lineups kept up to date.

I've got to ask this but you gotta give me specific channels on that lineup that isn't updated and we can hit the nail on the head 🙂

Techman: Here's one for you. The lineup for NY has been accurate, I'm talking about the lineup where you put your zip code in, but something strange happened a few days ago. Seven stations dropped off. The 6 ESPN stations at 1010-1015 plus USA HD at 550. The ESPN problem looks to be widespread. I put a few other zip codes in for other states and see USA HD, so I don't know if it's just NY or not for that one. Could you please have someone put those seven stations back on? Thank you for your time.

I'm in the NY area zip code 11010. USA HD on ch 550 plus 6 ESPN stations from 1010-1015. I think everyone's lienup is missing the ESPN stations, I don't know how widespread USA HD is. Thank you very much!

P.S. They were all there a few days ago, they just disappeared around Monday .

A website item:  the residential FiOS TV FAQ http://www22.verizon.com/residential/fiostv/faq/faq.html#two_six still indicates that analog channels may be picked up on a cable-ready TV without a set-top box.  Are there any markets where analog channels are still available?  I thought I saw a news item that the digital conversion was complete.

Good catch jophan. I had that problem with my last cable company too. Their websites are so big that after a few changes are made, some parts are out of date and no one ever catches it.

Here was a good thing with TWC.

http://www.timewarnercable.com/socal/programming/alerts.html

At least they gave me a timeframe in which I could expect some new channels. (Since I am Huntington Beach, the lack of HB in the next round of HD deployments (Nov. 18 - Feb. 2009) made it that much easier for me to siwtch to FiOS).
